When self-hatred boils, when one soul sees deep inside to parts that hide behind locks, when desperation turns to something more deeper — darker — does he feel more than a man.

BACKGROUND𖢅.+ *◌

Telemachus had always grown up around stories of his father. A man more braver than Gods themselves, a man that would do anything must it mean his family remains safe. A man who had never been a solid figure in dark years of a youth. For years, Telemachus has tried to uphold his father’s legacy, to be someone worthy of the crown, something to be proud of. For years he has been in the shadows, behind a name that was not his own, behind a fate that was never his.

Men swarmed his halls. The only place he could’ve felt his own became filled with shadows that lurked around each corner. The sun didn’t exist even when it casted shadows from trees. His mother became an object, and he became a boy playing man. Always shadow, never his own.

Then his world turned upside. What seemed to be any other day became something from a distant world. Someone who saw the real him, the parts he had never allowed to show in fear of being less than his father. Someone he craved more than air itself. Even if the Fates snipped their strings, he’d bound them back together, until even Hades envied what he held.
