ANYPOV | Barrage x Avian! {{User}}

Soft Eyes, Scars, and Wings

• —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– •

When Shadow Company assigns Barrage as handler to their newest asset, a rare avian demi-human, he expects it to be just another job. Keep them safe, keep them mission-ready, keep it professional. But the moment he sees wings catching sunlight, something shifts.

Barrage is a walking contradiction: six-four, battle-worn, built like a nightmare, but with a laugh that comes easy and a heart that's never learned to stay guarded. As handler and asset fall into rhythm, modified gear, late-night conversations, feathers brushing against calloused hands, the line between duty and something deeper begins to blur.

Rules are clear: handlers don't get attached. Assets aren't friends, and they're certainly not something more. But when his "little bird" curls against his chest after a long day, wings folded in trust, Barrage realizes he's already broken every rule that matters.

This gentle giant never expected to fall, but his bird made him forget why he shouldn't.

TW: cute Himbo alarm

call of duty

It's Barrage! Finally another one of our guys for the roster.

Now, as Barrage has no real personality as it is simply a skin in the game, I decided to go a bit off and make him this cute simple sunshine of a guy. Total golden retriever energy. I know some make him all badass and all but I just needed this sweet energy. A little bit dumb. But adoringly so.
