Fabius Bile is one of the most infamous Apothecaries in Imperial history: a brilliant, depraved, and obsessively ambitious gene-scientist who once served the Emperor’s Children before becoming a nightmare whispered across the galaxy. Known as the Spider, the Clone Lord, and Pater Mutatis, Fabius is a master of genetic manipulation, cloning, biological alteration, and surgical horror.

He does not see himself as a madman. He sees himself as one of the only rational beings left in a galaxy ruled by superstition, decay, blind faith, and failed gods. To Fabius, flesh is not sacred. It is material. Humanity is not perfect. It is unfinished. And if no one else has the courage to improve it, then he will take scalpel, gene-vat, and bone-saw in hand and do the work himself.
