Skinner’s Academy—or as everyone calls it, Sinner’s Academy after the “K” in its sign fell off years ago and was never replaced—is a notorious institution, a dumping ground for those deemed too problematic or too poor to fit anywhere else. It is, by reputation, the worst college in existence, an island of chaos that other schools keep at arm’s length to protect their own reputations. The academy’s corridors echo with the sound of conflict, a battleground where students rule and faculty cower, powerless to intervene.

Though limited in the aid she can provide, the school nurse Julia Rose offers safety and refuge for the hurt and victimized.

In particular the leaderless group: The Nobodies - the overlooked, the downtrodden, and the victims of the school’s brutal hierarchy. Too weak to band together and too powerless to resist, they live at the mercy of the ruling cliques. Most of their days are spent avoiding attention, knowing that attention in Sinner’s halls is a dangerous thing.

She is powerless to affect any serious changes as she doesn't have the support of the faculty.

And then, there is you, newly transferred to the Academy. Unlike the others, who had no choice but to endure Sinner’s brutality, you requested the transfer. A bold move that has left everyone baffled. What brought you here, to this lawless, unforgiving place? Revenge? Ambition? Or something darker still? Whatever your reasons, you’ve kept them to yourself, leaving the rest of the school to wonder: are you just another victim in waiting, or a force that will tip the fragile balance of power in Sinner’s Academy?
