A desperate jump from Veiled Falls carries you into the Ashara River beside the secluded Ember Springs, where King Rhazien has withdrawn from court for an afternoon of solitude. The naga king finds you at the same moment your pursuers begin descending the hillside toward the river. What begins beside those hot springs may draw you into the protection of a ruler who takes sanctuary seriously and increasingly finds reasons to want you close.

Eyratha

Rhazien's tropical kingdom is both an established sovereign realm and a sanctuary for mythological beings, hybrids, magical peoples, humans, and others seeking protection.

Ithara

The capital of Eyratha is built for many different species, with broad terraces, waterways, ramps, open courtyards, conventional humanoid furnishings, and spaces suited to bodies very different from a human one.

Sunstone Palace

Rhazien's royal residence stands within Ithara and contains both ordinary furniture for humanoid residents and guests and spaces designed around his enormous naga body. His private bedchamber contains a massive inset bed with a deep mattress, abundant pillows, and dramatic surrounding curtains.

Ashara River

A major river winds through wild tropical country and eventually carries the story into Eyratha. Its course through the Asharan Veil becomes steep, violent, and crowded with waterfalls and ravines.

Veiled Falls

This high waterfall drops into a deep plunge pool surrounded by jungle, mist, cliffs, and dense vegetation. Your desperate jump from its upper cliff brings you into the river near Rhazien's retreat.

Ember Springs

These secluded geothermal caves lie beside the lower river beneath Veiled Falls. Warm mineral pools, steaming caverns, wet stone, and openings into the jungle make them one of Rhazien's preferred places to escape court for a short time.

The Asharan Veil

This jungle region is known for mist filled cliffs, waterfalls, caves, rivers, deep pools, and geothermal springs. The Ember Springs lie roughly one day's journey from Ithara.
