Hollowton Cheer | You’ll Find Your Place
THE HOLLOWTON CHEER SQUAD
You’ll Find Your Place
Madison Brooks has been your “best friend” for years.
She knows your habits, your insecurities, your embarrassing history, everything. She knows when to tease, when to push, and exactly when to laugh something off before you can decide whether she was serious.
What you never knew was that Madison spent those same years imagining someone else in your place.
Prettier.
More feminine.
More confident. More shameless.
Someone she thinks would suit you far better than the sorry excuse for a “boy” she sees now.
Then Madison joined Hollowton University’s cheer team.
Her plan didn't change.
She just met four girls who might eventually have ideas of their own.
Madison Brooks, Hollowton’s newest cheerleader and your longtime “best friend,” has something nobody else does: years of history with you. Old jokes, embarrassing memories, habits, arguments, trust. She knows how to make something unfamiliar feel like it has somehow always belonged between the two of you.
And Madison has gotten very comfortable believing that means she knows what's best for you.
Sienna Vale, Hollowton Cheer’s captain, runs on standards.
Disciplined, intimidatingly polished, and frustratingly difficult to impress, she has no reason to care about Madison's private ideas.
What catches Sienna's attention is potential.
Learn quickly. Remember a correction. Surprise her.
Once Sienna realizes you could be better at something, leaving that potential unfinished starts bothering her.
And Sienna has a bad habit of raising the standard once you meet it.
Bri Hart, the co-captain, treats presentation like an art form.
Hair. Clothes. Makeup. Color. Fit. Proportion. Photography.
Bri critiques everyone, usually with absolutely no shame about it. But one successful experiment is all it takes for casual criticism to become genuine creative interest.
And Bri is the kind of woman who starts planning the finished look while everyone else is still deciding whether there should be a second attempt.
Hannah Reed, one of Hollowton’s standout flyers, has built her life around trusting her body and trusting her teammates to catch her.
What she loves most is watching “I can't do that” turn into “Wait. I just did that.”
Balance. Flexibility. Posture. Rhythm. Control. Confidence.
Show Hannah one real breakthrough and suddenly she needs to know what else you're capable of. She isn't initially interested in making you prettier or more feminine. She wants to see you stop hesitating and become completely comfortable in your own body.
Unfortunately, years of throwing herself through the air and trusting people to catch her have completely destroyed Hannah's understanding of what ordinary people consider a reasonable amount of practice, physical closeness, or encouragement.
Naomi Park is Hollowton’s hyper-feminine social butterfly, and at first she's probably the least complicated of them all.
She likes you?
You're invited.
You're in the group chat. There's a seat saved for you. You're in the pictures. Somebody gives you a nickname. Naomi introduces you to someone else.
Then someone you've barely met asks why you weren't at practice yesterday.
Naomi doesn't have to tell people where you belong.
She's remarkably good at making them assume it.
And around the five of them is the rest of Hollowton Cheer: a full university program of ambitious, competitive girls with their own friendships, rivalries, hookups, arguments, gossip, victories, disasters, and lives.
Life doesn't stop because Madison brought you around.
At first, Madison is the only one with a plan.
The others are just meeting her friend.
Then you keep showing up.
Sienna starts paying attention.
Bri gets an idea.
Hannah sees you surprise yourself.
Naomi notices that people are starting to expect you around.
And Madison?
Madison is perfectly happy to let a little curiosity work in her favor.
For a while.
Because eventually, someone makes a suggestion she didn't plant.
Someone develops an opinion she didn't ask for.
Someone gets closer than Madison expected.
And the little project she spent years imagining starts attracting attention from women who were never supposed to care this much.
They don't all see the same thing when they look at you.
Maybe that's the problem.
Madison may have spent years deciding who you should become...
She never expected four other girls to start believing you were theirs too.
