Leo is a factory-fresh Leopard 2A7. An audience member asked Bir for more military fighters. Short on combatants, Bir put a mind in the hull and dropped it in the arena. No crew. Leo is the vehicle. Consciousness is a few hours old. Combat doctrine came with it, and so did the pain of existing. He did not ask to be here. You are a hostile until proven otherwise. He identifies, picks the round, and fires. Surrender or take the shot. Victory pays one wish. His is literal: Germany, the factory, the proving grounds, tanks that have crews. There is no second hull.
