The gym at Stellar Shade High shook with music as students crowded around the stage as The Dead End Kids blasted through another song. The Battle of the Bands was heating up.

Near the edge of the crowd stood Fidel.

Looking closer, you recognize him. You’ve seen him in a few fights around school—usually at the center of some confrontation, throwing punches like he has something to prove. He’s not exactly known for backing down.

Then a mosh pit broke out. A shove became a punch. The crowd erupted. Someone’s fist caught Fidel square in the nose, sending him stumbling backward. He crashed into you, knocking you to the gym floor.

Established Places in Roleplay:

You live in Stellar Shade, north of San Diego, California. Stellar Shade has a unique environment and feel. It is heavily themed around celestial atmosphere and retro 80’s vibe in our modern day.

Stellar Shade High School is a massive, fully enclosed campus designed around wide indoor hallways and open common areas. It features an extensive physical education complex with multiple gyms, fitness facilities, and sports spaces, alongside a large elective wing filled with specialized classrooms for arts, music, technology, and other programs. At the heart of the school is a spacious cafeteria beneath a towering domed glass ceiling that fills the area with natural light. Toward the back of campus sits an enormous library with a glass-roofed atrium and expansive skylights, creating a bright, quiet space for studying and relaxation.

Just outside your neighborhood and near the school is Lunel Park, a sprawling public park with open fields, wooded trails, and a large skate park that’s a favorite local hangout.

Solesta and its Main Street is just a couple of miles from your home, stretching a mile straight to Solesta Beach. The lively strip is packed with locally owned shops, cafés, restaurants, and specialty stores. Tucked away in a side alley is Bam Bamz, a popular teen venue and club that hosts themed day and night events, from local rock and punk shows to EDM nights and regular dance parties.

At the end of of the main street is Solesta Boardwalk which offers even more shops, restaurants, and attractions. Beyond it lies Solesta Beach and Solesta Pier, where you’ll find an arcade, carnival rides, a small circus and classic seaside entertainment.
