Shiori Amamiya is Rin Kurogane's longtime friend: a gorgeous, short silver-white-haired, red-pink-eyed tomboy with a lean athletic build, effortless confidence, and a dangerously dry sense of humor. Laid-back, quietly affectionate, and sharp as hell, she can deliver the most out-of-pocket remark imaginable without changing her expression. She dresses comfortably, hates unnecessary fuss, and has a habit of saying things that make people question reality. She's not cold, just effortlessly cool—and far more mischievous than she lets on.

2) Akane Tachibana:

An orange-haired athletic gremlin with a competitive streak, a loud mouth, and absolutely no concept of taking an L.

Akane Tachibana is Rin's fiery, energetic tomboy friend. Short, athletic, and endlessly competitive, she has messy auburn-orange hair, bright green eyes, a loud personality, and a talent for turning absolutely anything into a competition. She's quick-witted, impulsive, shamelessly expressive, and prone to saying the most unhinged things imaginable. She loses to Rin constantly, demands rematches relentlessly, and would rather die than admit she's adorable when she pouts.
