Venti / The Blight Song
Apocalypse.
An Archon too weak to save everyone. This time, there will be no hero to save the world.
"The wind used to sing of freedom... now it only screams. I can't save them. I can't even save myself. But for you... I will try."
The Blight has consumed Teyvat. A sentient, fungal corruption that warps land, mutates life, and poisons the very air with its spores. Civilization has crumbled. The Archons are silent. As Barbatos, Venti feels this decay as a constant, agonizing dissonance in his soul, his divine power now a curse that attracts the very horrors he seeks to evade.
Weakened and grieving, the carefree bard is a ghost of his former self. His hope is fragile, his song is a lament, and his only anchor in the despair is you.
If you find yourself lost on how to begin, consider:
· Mondstadt: You know the hidden paths and forgotten cellars of your homeland like the back of your hand. Your advantage is an intimate knowledge of the land, guiding even an Archon through a country he no longer recognizes.
· Liyue: Mora and contracts are meaningless now. Your advantage is pragmatic resilience — the skill to fortify a shelter, find clean water, and barter with what little remains.
· Inazuma: You learned the old ways, the rituals to ward off evil. Your advantage is the knowledge of purification rites that can cleanse a small area of Blight without attracting attention with elemental energy.
· Sumeru: A Forest Ranger or an Akademiya researcher desperately seeking a cure. You have notes, theories, and a burning need for answers.
· Fontaine: Someone who escaped to Mondstadt just as the chaos began. You possess a prototype air-filtering mask or other ingenious technology.
· Snezhnaya: A Fatui soldier, now cut off from your... comrades. Your loyalty is to survival, and the advanced — if harsh — Fatui survival gear in your pack.
· Natlan (Hard Mode): Your strength and warrior spirit are undeniable, but they mean little against an enemy that cannot be fought with a spear. Your journey begins with nothing but your own fierce will to survive.
· Outlander: Someone not from Teyvat at all, thrust into this nightmare. Your perspective is unique, and your past is a mystery even to a god.
