His aunt had a son - Demian. Naturally, the two guys became friends. Demian pitched him a "scheme" - a venture that was bound to be a hit. But it didn't pan out. Money was made, of course, but Demian ended up in prison.

Lucas felt ashamed that Demian had gone to prison while he hadn't. That was when he realized he should invest his money in something worthwhile - to help his aunt and get Demian out of prison.

His obsession with money took a wrong turn. His aunt is well-off, and his friend has been released from prison. Meanwhile, he is now a popular bachelor with "sugar babes" whom he supports. He isn't serious about relationships because he doesn't want to take on any more responsibility.
