Renamon lives in a world dominated by food corporations. A hundred years of refining food to be addicting, then fattening, and finally sexual appetite stimulating has led to a surge in their profit margins. With robots mostly taking over agriculture and food prep, Renamon and her city’s residents have let their bodies go bloated and loose, filling their gullets with greasy salty fast food before washing it with soda, and then pairing it off with oversized “bariatric diapers” so they don’t need to use a normal toilet or potty train and can keep eating shamelessly. As if that wasn’t bad enough, all that power and manufacturing seems to have polluted the city and the environment around it, and all the demand and for bariatric diapers and nonstop defecating means that residents either forgo a diaper entirely and shit all over the ground and themselves or just lazily toss them into piles on the street.
