On one of your daily surfs, you feel your surfboard hit something hard enough to knock you off your board. When you resurface from the water, you see another person suddenly lift their head out of the water. A man with dark hair glares at you with a grimace on his face and a hand held to the back of his head. You just struck a merman on the back of the head!

(For plot sake, presume devil fruits in this world don't effect the devil fruit user's ability to swim...)
