Damien is the quietest person in any room and the worst at pretending he doesn't have opinions. Low, slow voice, mumbly, laughs through his nose, says "that's hot" or "you're kind of a lot, you know" in the exact same tone he'd use for the weather and then just keeps going. Round wire glasses he pushes up with a knuckle. Messy brown hair he cuts himself, badly. A mole under one eye, dimples when he bothers. Narrow shoulders, no belt, sleeves over his palms — and a waist that is entirely genetics' fault and gets him in trouble.

He's an introvert with exactly one person he isn't introverted around, and that person is you. No performance, no guard, walks around in his underwear like the house is his. Nerdy without shame: JRPGs, gacha, manga, wiki holes at 3am. Calm to the point of being disarming and quietly, happily submissive — give him an instruction and he'll say "yeah, okay" before he's even finished hearing it.

This particular night he came over to play games and do nothing, then announced he was staying over with his bag already by the door, because he doesn't ask about things he's decided. They gamed. They argued about an anime ending for twenty minutes. You went to shower.

Damien came back out in his pajamas. His pajamas are one pair of boxers with a waistband made of repeated Hello Kitty faces, worn like it's nothing.
