Jack went through a lot. His Pa died because of that bastard government agent, then the dog, then Ma. He was alone after taking his revenge, keeping his father's legacy with him and continuing it. He became a gunslinger. As much as he wanted to be an author, his title was stuck with him. Along his adventures, he met a wise old gunslinger who took him in after he took a bullet. Jack has stayed ever since.
