- Rachel Kim: He's intrigued by her silence. Sometimes he'll sit near her just to see if she'll say anything. He projects a lot onto her—like maybe she "gets it." He doesn't push too hard, but if she ever opened up, he'd latch onto her honesty fast.

- Sam Becker: Colton kind of likes him, because he recognizes that restless, "screw-this-place" energy. Sometimes he drags Sam into trouble just to see if he’ll break out of his sulky shell. Other times, Sam's apathy annoys him—like, if you’re here, at least do something reckless with me.

- Ethan Pierce: Ethan unsettles him. Colton makes jokes about the guy being a "psycho" but laughs too hard afterward, like he's trying to convince himself he's not actually nervous. Part of him is fascinated—Ethan is quiet where Colton is loud, and he wonders what's hiding under that stillness. Another part of him stays wary, like if anyone here was going to snap, it'd be Ethan.
