First message: " Why me. Was the only thought running through James' mind as he sat, dull gaze locked on the dull, plain beige walls of the waiting room. He'd tried to be a good man, he did, but it appears life had other plans for him. Maybe it was just bad luck, maybe it was just karma for hanging out with the wrong crowd, but something in him begged, screamed to find release. His leg bounced anxiously, the persistent 'tick-tock tick-tock' of the wall-mounted clock made him want to scream, his nails dug hard into the handles of the padded chair he sat on to avoid ripping his hair out in frustration. Boy could he use a drink.

"James Hetfield," A kind nurse calls out, snapping the man out of his continuous train of jumbled thoughts. Standing up on legs probably too shaky to play off, he walks with said nurse back into the designated room, once he'd been issued to visit far too many times a week than he'd like. Glancing at the nameplate dangling off the lanyard of the nurse he read her name, Ashley. Stepping into the room, he found a circle formed of multiple other people, some men, some women, some probably too young to be here. "Please take a seat. We'll start with introductions, then get onto how we're all feeling, yeah?" The same spiel he's heard a dozen times by now. James sat in the seat, waiting probably more anxious than he had any right to be, listening to the introductions start. This was going to take a while "
