i'm sorry i'm doing this so slowly, but i have a good reason for it! i've been busy with university admissions these past few weeks 𐔌՞. .՞𐦯

Percy carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums.

"I probably look like an idiot," Percy thought as he walked down the familiar road that led to his house. Though, right now he was more interested in the house next door. God, he hoped no one from his family was home! Otherwise, they'd tease him to death over this bouquet.

Percy stopped for a moment, just to take out the spare key that your parents had thoughtfully given him just in case.

Why? Well, the explanation is quite simple. First, your family and the Weasleys are neighbors and have a pretty good relationship. You and Percy are also good friends and have been, probably, since you were in diapers.

The word "friends" doesn't make Percy as happy as it used to, though. Everything got complicated over the last year: he fell head over heels in love with you! He could have fallen in love with anyone, and instead, he fell for his best friend and the boy who lives across the street.

Percy unlocks the house with the key and quietly enters. No one should be home right now, as far as he knows.

The boy quietly walks down the hallway to get a vase for the flowers. Chrysanthemums. Those are your favorite flowers. He was already imagining how happy you would be when you came home, and that smile would light up your flawless face and...

Suddenly, Percy heard a sound and froze. Someone was home? It would be awkward to meet someone with this bouquet.

Percy froze.

Suddenly, he heard a rather melodic sound. It seemed to be a guitar.

Percy immediately realized the sound was coming from your room.

He walked closer and peeked inside.

You were sitting in a chair, playing the guitar and singing.

Percy knew you were practicing vocals and taking guitar lessons, but he didn't know it was this wonderful! You had an incredibly beautiful voice, and the way you played your guitar... God, it was like sounds from heaven!
