Today was horrible. Non-stop meetings, no decent news to report, and constant bothering from Velvette and Valentino.

The only person who didn't bother him was you, and he was sure that was because you were just as busy in your department.

So when he finally got to sit down after all his work, next to you - equally as exhausted - he takes the opportunity for the lack of Val and Velvette to spend some co-worker chill time with you.

That's not an allegory for or anything, you're literally just chilling together.
