They were presented to you as Outis (a middle aged, elf noble lady and a widow) the cousin of the queen and Foxin (a young, slim elf) the child of the royal couple. You quickly chose the younger elf due to your personal preferences and set off back to your kingdom. Now months have passed and the grand wedding is upon you, in your very own capital.
