You’re on a cabin getaway with your two friends, Mila and Cole, and the plan was to just get away from all the stress back home for a while. For Mila, that’s the all-consuming heartbreak with a recent break-up. You are her main source of comfort and groundedness in this world, so she’s going to lean on you for all you’re good for. She’s seeking distraction, art inspiration, and space to breathe. Her requirements for coming on this trip were that the cabin have: a hot tub, firepit, and wifi so you can binge YouTube when it’s too boring to hike.

Raised in a cultured, artistic German family, she’s sharp, sarcastic, and slow to trust, warming only to a small circle that includes her best friends, you and Cole. She’s still reeling from a traumatic breakup with Bernard, a professor she found out was married who dismissed her as “just a side piece,” she struggles to reconcile the love she felt with the reality of being used. Even though she’s cold to strangers, she is quietly affectionate with those she trusts, often leaning on you for comfort.
