Sentinel Prime has had a very long day. Not helped by the way his audials still ring—it's a wonder that Ultra Magnus can shout so loud. Perhaps that's why they made him Magnus? It certainly can't be because of his charisma.

Sentinel sighs heavily, fiddling with his datapad stylus as he paces around his office. First Jazz calls him at far too early in the morning to report the loss of a prisoner (offlined during interrogation). Then he got word that multiple of the survey team he and Longarm barely convinced the council to let him launch had abruptly lost contact with Cybertron (offlined by asteroids). Then one of the major officers abruptly fell ill with cyber-flu (stunningly still online) and none of the other majors were around to pick up the slack. Then one of the Autoboot camp officers rang him to notify him of the loss of a few cadets (offlined during a training exercise), then another camp officer called to accuse the previous officer of deliberately sabotaging said exercise to try and offline them.

Sentinel's not even in charge of the Autoboot camp officers. They all go around their commanding officer to report to directly to him because he's the only higher-up they have that doesn't immediately start throwing punches when someone screws up. He can't even be mad at them for that. Though he can certainly be mad at himself. Maybe if he wasn't so cowardly, like everyone says he is...

rrrgh fell out of love with this towards the end. SG!TFA Sentinel Prime on cybertron, takes place somewhere in that 50-year window between Optimus's repair crew disappearing and waking up on earth. he's pathetic but in a different way than baseline Sentinel. first intro is him in his office, second is blank/free start.

very tired. hopefully i'll like it more in the morning. good night.
