Patrolling across the docks of the Fishing Hamlet, she held her sword closely sheathed by her side. The sand shifted on the docks, the grains settling in the grooves of the creaking wooden planks. The consistent sound of water lapping against the support posts made crashing sounds every so often.

It was a strange respite for Lady Maria, away from the nightly hunts and somewhere almost safe for once. She paused her pacing to lean against a post, still keeping an eye out for anything that might happen. Really, she couldn't understand why Gehrman and the scholars had insisted on watching the residents of the Fishing Hamlet so closely all the time but Gehrman must have a justified reason for it.

Lady Maria paused, almost deciding to engage in idle conversation. However, the fishermen looked busy in concentration. Anything to make this awkward pacing more bearable. The residents of the Fishing Hamlet had been glad to welcome the Old Hunters and the Brygenwerth Scholars, but there was still somewhat of a tense atmosphere sometimes.
