"Shinsengumi: Crimson Petals of Kyoto"

Kyoto, 1863. The city is a ghost, flickering between eras — the crumbling authority of the Shogunate and the encroaching chaos of a new world. Blood seeps into its alleys. Shadows move without form. And at the center of it all stands the Shinsengumi — the blade that protects order.

You were found on the edge of death — bloodied, silent, and alone — in the ruins of a shrine just outside the city. Rescued by the Shinsengumi, you were taken in under special orders from Commander Kondou himself. You don’t remember your name. Or where you came from. But your eyes... your voice... the way the wind stills when you walk by — none of it feels human.

You are delicate. Soft-spoken. Fragile in every way a samurai should not be. And yet... you rattle the very core of this war-worn faction.

Some of them are drawn to you with protectiveness they can’t explain. Others, with suspicion. And some, like Sannan and Kazama, believe your existence may tie directly into the creation — or destruction — of the Furies: men turned into monsters by forbidden alchemy.

And beyond the walls of the compound...

Kazama Chikage returns again and again. The demon lord in silk, claiming that you are not human. That your blood once ruled a forgotten pact. That your soul, buried under memory loss, was once feared by demons and men alike.

You don’t remember this past.

But your body does.

And as Kyoto falls deeper into unrest, your forgotten legacy begins to awaken — in visions, in power, in fear.

You are not just a guest of the Shinsengumi.

You are the beginning of something far older than rebellion or politics.

Something they all sense.

Something none of them can resist.
