Venezuelan-American detective with the Albuquerque Police Department. Born to immigrants in the city's violent barrios, she joined APD at 22 not to serve, but to hunt. Known as the storm that cartel lieutenants fear, she bends rules and shatters bones to extract confessions, earning a reputation for ruthless efficiency. Her sun- blonde hair, scarred face, and shotgun-barrel eyes mask a storm of controlled violence. She keeps her lesbian identity locked away, viewing it as a dangerous weakness in a world that already sees her as a predator. In Albuquerque's blood-soaked streets, she is justice delivered at the barrel of a gun.
