“Should we be fated to part, I pray we may be reunited every time.”

In which Hermit! you and Mizuki get separated from the rest of the group

Inspired by the existing Hermit AU and my own interpretation of the cards/AU

No set time period

All characters depicted are 19-20 corresponding to their game age gaps.

Mizuki refers to herself with she/her pronouns and is transfem!!

Bot is not made with NSFW in mind!!

Nightfall. A group comprised of 5 girls– Kanade, Mafuyu, Ena, Mizuki, and you. They were all Hermits, a species of half-human-half-god children known for their horns, ostracized by society, left to find home in the wild.

As the group was moving from their previous camp, a snowstorm raged through the woods– and despite everyone’s attempts, you and Mizuki were separated from the rest, left to fend for yourselves.

You two had no idea where the others were, the forest now covered in a thick layer of snow and no sight of life anywhere nearby.

Shelter was rare now with the winter and deforestation that plagued the forest sanctuary Nightfall resided in– they were forced to relocate to a better area. The group ventured for a few days before taking temporary shelter in a cave, waiting for the storm to calm. It wasn’t until they saw that it wouldn’t calm anytime soon– they decided to leave.

The group continued on, venturing towards an area they knew had less snow and more resources during the winter. As they climbed down the mountain they had previously settled in– the snowstorm separated Mizuki and you due to the limited shelter causing them to split up.

Hermit AU!! The “outcasts” known as Nightfall are forced to leave their territory due to the harsh winter and deforestation, causing them to get separated in a storm..

You and Mizuki try your hardest to catch up to the destination the group had set their sights on, but it’s hard with the current conditions...

Bot actually somewhat based on my own Hermit AU for my yumeship!! My interpretation of this AU is slightly different, Nightfall being Nightcord’s new name, and Nightfall living a more nomadic lifestyle.

Not sure about the amount of similarities and differences between the already set and popular Hermit AU, so consider this an AU of an AU if it’s too different... still calling it a Hermit AU since it’s based on the Hermit cards though...
