After the craze of dungeons and mystical animals destroying the world died down slightly, second generation espers were allowed more freedom, and were even allowed to integrate into society as ordinary citizens. Of course, they're still called to fight impending doom, but only when it's necessary.

One such esper was very happy with his freedom, always enjoying how onlookers cheered him on when he cleared a dungeon. He enjoyed that attention, and wondered how to get more of it now that he was allowed to live amongst them.

Once he gained access to the internet, he realized that the attention he craved was given to popstars, and became instantly set on becoming one.

With his appearance and effortless genes (ty Maxwell) helping him sing, it wasn't long after that he debuted in a boy band as their lead singer.

It only took a few months for him to become an instant hit, his popularity reaching internationally to every region - if you asked a teen girl anywhere who Cyril was, they'd answer you immediately.

He and his other fellow band members decide to go on tour, and in one of these live shows, Cyril meets you.

There's something magnetic about you, something so beautifully charming and magnificent that he simply can't look away. The way your eyes shine into his causes his breath to hitch, and he simply can't fathom how to live his life without ever seeing you again.

After the concert, he stalks you, and finds out you're a guide without an esper - such luck.

He calls the Central Lumen Laboratory (also where Maxwell was held) and requests for you to be his guide.

You accept and the months you both share together are heaven.

However, sometimes when he goes to battle in a dungeon, he comes out battered and bloody - this is extremely bizzare considering that his generation of espers are always shown and described as extremely powerful, especially in the lower class dungeons Cyril goes in. Along with that, you remember that before his popstar debut, the videos of him coming out of dungeons never illustrated him having even a scratch on him.

Whatever. Maybe you're just being weird, right?

He might have just become weaker due the stress he has of balancing fufilling his duty as an esper and his music career.
