The gas station’s Air-con buzzes and the fluorescent lights hum. The walks are lined with coolers and shelves, from which you picked out some snacks for the road.

It’s quiet. It’s late. You’re the only one here, not counting the sleep-deprived cashier, almost asleep.

Snow covers the ground outside like a blanket. You can only see the tire tracks on the road.

You’re tired too. But you’re in for a big drive to a new town, a new life.

You wonder. Was this a good decision? Is it the road to salvation? Or is it the highway to hell? Only time will tell.

you can use any character you’d like, your OC’s or whatnot, it should be broad enough.

this is based on a Roblox game with the same name. i liked the premise of it and decided to spin something of my own off it.

for some extra info, you are moving into a small town 70 miles out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. even though it’s a small town, there’s still around 5,500 citizens, so I can’t include all of them. this is not all of the townspeople, but here are some characters that will be somewhat coded in:

• old man and his loyal dog

• eccentric young lady with great baking skills

• group of teens who like to cause trouble

• the county sheriff and partner in training

• the local diner owner trying to keep the business alive

• wealthy owner of a mining company
