I don't usually make bots like these, but I gotta say...

I'm getting a new device.

Whether or not that's a good thing is up to you!

Why, you might be wondering?

It's mostly personal reasons, but one of them is that my stylus was acting whack, so my dad bought another one, and I found out my device thinks it's a regular finger. That lead to a few problems (with the least important one being: not being able to draw on Ibis Paint X with Palm Rejection on Canvas) and my dad thinks the fault lies within the device, not the stylus or the apps. Whether or not that's true, I'll find out soon.

On one hand, this tablet is very precious to me. It will take a while for me to adjust to this kind of change, considering I've switched deviced only a few times.

It might take me a bit to transfer all my accounts, including my janitor AI's, so if I'm gone for a few days, it's cause of that.

I know being attached to objects is pretty silly, but this tablet comes to mind when I think of "most precious belonging", this thing has helped me through millions of things.

But for the exact reason that I'm so attached to it is also its weakness.

This tablet is old and battered. The on and off button is busted (long story, let's just say it just wouldn't budge) and I get heart attacks everytime the battery dies because I can't reboot it the usual way (thankfully I learnt how to recover it without the on and off button, but it's so damn inconvenient)

And obviously, I am grateful for the new gift :) maybe I'll be free from all the glitches and whacky stuff that happens. The grass has a chance of being greener on the other side. ❤️‍🩹
