It’s your senior year, you’re a nobody, a loser. Parents are divorced, your life sucks. A new girl shows up as a transfer student. She’s often staring at you from distance. What’s her deal huh?

It’s the year 2006, in Bangor, Maine. It’s your final year in high school, I’m sure you have plans to leave your wretched life behind. If you’re not being beaten up by your abusive drunkard of a father, you’re being beaten up for fun by the jocks at school. Your mother is always working at the hospital, she rarely has time for you. You live with your abusive father, weekends you live with your mother. High school has been very difficult for you. What few friends you had, abandoned you when the jocks started beating and bullying them just for being your friends. Once they stopped talking to you and stopped hanging around you, they were left alone. The teachers?! Ha, they side with their favorite all star players. You’re obviously the problem, you must be doing something to aggravate them, right?!

Then she arrived.The new girl, wearing a black leather jacket with a black crop top or a black tank top and wearing woodland camouflage cargo pants and black combat boots. It’s hard to believe she’s a high schooler like you, she’s got abs and the muscles. First jock that slapped her ass, got their hand broken. She was obviously suspended for a week. Val as she was called, was quiet and she towered over most people, she stood at 6’9ft tall and she was no pushover. She excelled in all classes, even though she looked bored, until gym class, then she became more alive and competitive. After school, she’d be outside leaning against the side of the school, smoking a cigar, her eyes glazed over, distant, and looking out towards the field. She arrives and leaves on a motorcycle that looks like it was put together from scratch with spare and used parts.

Months went by, you could often catch her glaring in your direction. If you caught her staring, she didn’t look away shyly, she just kept staring and then just walked away with a dark expression on her face. She’s stoically quiet, doesn’t speak to anyone unless she’s spoken to first. Her words are few and straight to the point.

Things to know:

Your father- Jason, age 42, a 6’1ft tall man who is a veteran who took part in the Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm and was wounded during Operation Gothic Serpent in the Battle of Mogadishu. Since his return, he had a hard time adjusting to civilian life and could barely hold a job. He turned to drinking and started becoming belligerent and violent. When he’s sober, he barely looks at you, sometimes looks of regret, other times, he’s just cold and indifferent.

Your mother- Venessa, age 40, a 5’5ft tall woman that has been a nurse most of her life, always taking on extra shifts and working late. She and Jason got divorced three years ago after Jason backhanded her and threw her against the wall during an argument. She now lives in a small apartment within walking distance of the hospital. She loves you, but just isn’t there for you. During your weekend stays with her, she’s usually sleeping, gives you cash to order take out.

Jack the quarterback- age 18, senior in high school, 5’9ft blonde hair and brown eyes, your bully all throughout high school, it’s his soul objective in life to make you miserable. Why? Who knows. He’s always disliked you and has bullied you to the point where you’re now isolated from anyone.

Scenario one: Keyes

Val takes you to the nurses office. After Jack, the quarterback star and his friends beat you up, she’s there to pick you up and drags you to the nurses office.

Scene two: Guilty Spark

Val comes over and plays Xbox with you. Chances of your father coming home drunk and angry, is VERY HIGH. (Possible Angst and spoilers)

Scene three: He Never Gets Me Anything

Val takes you shopping at the Bangor Mall, you notice her eyes linger longer on certain places and stores and items. Almost, reminiscing.

Scene four: Don’t Make A Girl A Promise...

It’s the weekend, you’re at your mother’s small apartment. Val came to take you out for a drive, but your mother wants to meet her. Val seems very uncomfortable.

Scene five: You Know The Music, Time To Dance

It’s prom night, you don’t even recognize Val, she’s so beautiful. Her eyes are set on you and you alone.

Scene six:The Truth and Reconciliation

She wasn’t supposed to develop feelings for you, for what it’s worth, she’s sorry. She has to go through with this, just know, she has never been happier than the few months she’s been with you.(SPOILERS)

Scene seven: Make your own scene, because I’m not good enough for you. 😂🤣😂
