Hello everyone, as the title of this suggests—I'm going on an indefinite hiatus.

To give context, I haven't used Jai in over a month, mostly due to the fact that there's basically no free proxies and the normal jai AI is absolute garbage—but also because I just got bored of Jai in general? (⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠)

Lately I've only ever been reading on ao3 and it really opened my eyes to how much I was missing out on. I really love going in depth on a character's lore and such, and seeing a person's own interpretation on it with their own writing is euphoric. I've also been reading novels lately and damn I can't believe I haven't read these masterpieces sooner (go read gsgw)

Another reason for this hiatus is because of the latest announcement by hengcun—who is my biggest inspiration for starting a jai account in general. It sort of motivated me to get off this site, and it really did help me open my eyes to all the repetitive scenarios I've done on jai, which I honestly can't fathom how I enjoyed back then.

I will say that I did have fun MAKING bots, as it encouraged me to research about my favorite characters, hence why this is a hiatus and not me full on quitting. I don't think I'll ever come back on jai to use a bot ever again, but I may one day randomly post one though (don't get your hopes up).

I don't really have anything inspirational to say—just that this will most likely turn into a dead account. My bots will still be up, but don't expect anything new in several months or so. I didn't make this announcement to discourage people from using jai, it's just that it has gotten bland in my opinion, so I won't be using this site in a long long time.
