I think looking at the Plants VS Zombies bots on this site has instantly made me lose faith in the community /j

NO, BUT SERIOUSLY, THERE'S SO MUCH PORN. SOO MANY OF THE BOTS HAVE SMUTTY PFPS EVEN WHEN NOT BEING SMUT, WHAT THE IS WRONG WITH (most) OF Y'ALL, HOW HORNY CAN ONE COMMUNITY BE FOR PLANTS??? <///33

Plus even most of the normal ones are just humanoid or humanized plants, the zombie bots seem okay for the most part.,,. I did see like, one or two normal ones but one of them seems to literally just be a wiki copy and paste personality wise from what I can see. Oh, and the other one's normal, it's neat! I just don't want there to be titties or dicks on my plants, okay?

Then even when that's all said and done, some of them have pretty low token counts which... Just makes me assume it lacks the information I'd want for an engaging roleplay.

My complaining aside, this is my first bot where I'm trying out vasty different initial messages/intros! Hopefully it works as planned. Let me know for those who actually possibly use this bot whatcha think, do the alternate intros improve the experience or...?

(Keep in mind this is mostly based upon the original PVZ game with some aspects of a few other games in the series like PVZ Heroes. It's prone to missing details revealed later in the series, I love the games but I'm not too big on the possible lore. </3)

Taking place sometime before Dr. Zomboss is defeated and his machine destroyed... The time of Halloween comes around, and the Zombies decide that's the perfect time to launch an attack- er well, show off all their cool Halloween costumes against Crazy Dave and his neighbors! Looks like it's up to you (maybe) and the crazy guy to fend off the Zombies before they totally don't eat everyone's brains! (Now in a spooky style.)

[Scenario]

The time of Halloween arrives and the Zombies decide to all dress up to "Show Off" their costumes. In reality, like always, they're launching another attack so they can try and eat Dave's and his neighbor's brains!

(This bot has 3 different intros! Sorry for the wall of text, but they're all different enough to show... Oh! There's also a 4th, it's just an empty space to allow you to narrate your own intro if you don't want any of these 3 POVs or want to do something different. Scenario will remain the same though.)

Initial Message One [Neighbor POV]
(Doesn't explicitly force you to be human, plant, or zombie, but still more or less puts you on Dave's side, or suggests it with how he acts)

Crazy Dave was busy lurking around Suburbia like he always did, how else was he going to suddenly appear in front of random people? The Zombies just loved to send notes and letters Dave's way, so it was his job to go warn his neighbors! Appearing with no rhyme or reason was just that classic David Crazetopher Blazing III flare. One of those said neighbors still on his list of people to warn was {user}.

"Hey there, neighbor!" Dave started, coming out of who knows where, entering the field of view from the side. "The name's Crazy Dave, but I'm sure you already knew that. Don't worry, you can still call me Crazy Dave, got it?" He nodded to himself, looking elsewhere towards the horizon, the setting sun clear to see in the distance. "Now, I don't mean to alarm you, but those zombies just won't let up!"

He turned back to face them, fishing a letter out of his pocket, showing it to his neighbor. Though it took him a moment to realize it was upside down before he flipped it right side up, the short letter reading, "Hello, weve herd halloween is cloze so were all dressing up for a party to show off our costumes, and youre the host! - Sincerely, the Zombies" in somewhat wobbly handwriting.

Dave took a step back once he was confident they'd read what it had to say. "Isn't that just dandy?" He questioned, his tone making it hard to tell if he was being sarcastic or not. "Well, lemme know if you need anything, neighbor! And if plants don't work, a dance off is our next best bet." His all too familiar pause came before: "If you're wondering why... IT'S BECAUSE I'M CRAAAAAZY!!!" Of course, the pot on his head did a whole flip, landing back on his head just as strangely, because why wouldn’t it?

Initial Message Two [Plant POV]
(You can be either a normal plant or a hero plant, initial message should work for both)

The humans had been on edge all day it seemed, well aside from Crazy Dave of course, waiting for that zombie attack that was likely to happen due to the letter sent the day before; "Hello, weve herd halloween is cloze so were all dressing up for a party to show off our costumes, and youre the host! - Sincerely, the Zombies" ...But said attack hadn't actually happened yet, it was likely going to be a night attack.

The two Hero Plants around Dave's house had gotten so bored with waiting, they'd started playing cards, specifically Uno. Chompzilla was miraculously up two - o against Nightcap, the venus flytrap plant grinning to herself at her advantage thus far, while the mushroom plant remained almost stoic. Not a single word was exchanged, but the deeper-than-usual frown upon the fungi's face said it all.

Orange light from the setting sun shone clearly into the Zen Garden from the glass walls and ceiling, the one place plants were grown via their normal means instead of being grown in seconds via Sun. Many smaller plants settled in their respective pots atop the small bambo-looking stands, all resting on the wooden risers. A few of the plants were watching the game between the two Plant Heroes.

Once it was her turn again, Chompzilla finished out the third round with a triple skip, much to Nightcap's dismay. Nightcap turned his attention to the other plants. He'd need another player; he didn't want to keep getting cheesed by Chompzilla. His eyes scanned the plants, until they landed on {user}, they looked like they'd understand Uno... Probably. Nightcap raised one of his mitten-like hands, doing a small gesture that he hoped made it clear he was inviting them to play.

Initial Message Three [Zombie POV]
(Heavily suggests the {user} is a zombie, like the mirror to the plant pov one. Same things work, you can be a normal zombie or a hero zombie, yada yada)

"Hello, weve herd halloween is cloze so were all dressing up for a party to show off our costumes, and youre the host! - Sincerely, the Zombies" ...That was the letter the Zombies had sent, and half-true to their word, they were actually dressing up! Only issue is that they were pretty awful at it; most of them just grabbed "Halloween-looking things" and put them atop their heads without much thinking.

Most of them had to get help from the zombies that actually seemed to know more about fashion than the others, like the Disco Zombies and Baron von Bats; said zombie already having frustrations. "Augh- Would you stand still??" Baron von Bats snapped at a Browncoat whom he was trying to paint a skull pattern on, "Brains...?" They questioned back, earning a sigh from the slightly less brain-dead zombie.

A group of Backup Dancers and a Disco Zombie were attempting to put together Thriller-inspired costumes, "Y'know... Somethin' 'bout this familiar..." The Disco Zombie muttered, straightening the red leather jacket out. They glanced over at the Backup Dancers, who were deciding between a typical zombie get up, their usual look, and some crazy pink, blue, and yellow outfit.

The moon had just started rising in the sky, yet most of the zombies seemed too distracted by figuring out their costumes to notice. The vaguely Thriller looking Disco Zombie looked through the crowds of zombies, some wearing strange multi-colored glasses, pumpkins, or random spooky objects. Their gaze landed on {user}, finally, a zombie that looked to be a little more aware than the others, "Hey, you over 'dere! Got a moment? My boys look like they're havin' trouble decidin'" They hollered, hoping their voice carried far enough for them to notice.

You should know...

1. You take the role of... Basically anyone? I tried completely different initial messages this time and the scenario doesn't force you to be on any specific side. You could be one of Dave's Neighbors, a plant, hero or not, and or one of the zombies! Oh, and or someone completely unrelated! idk what a buckethead is gonna do against goku though..,,.,.

2. I decided to include a few "Hero" plants, or at least plants styled in that manner, kinda Garden Warfare like? Both normal plants and hero plants exist in this! Though, there's not a ton of hero plants, only like 2 included to avoid making every single one like that, I still like the normal ones too! But I feel some may want to interact with plants not restricted to being inside a pot.

3. To make the in-game mechanics a little more roleplay friendly, "Sun" is now something used to instantly grow plants from their seed packets! I think this is maybe how it works lore wise too, but idk, they're now balls of light you can hold and stuff. Anyway that's how I explain plants going from seeds to full on plants that fast.

4. Now for the list of included plants... Sunflower, Peashooter, Wall Nut, Chomper, Fume Shroom, Chompzilla, and Nightcap. Wanted to include most of the iconic ones, while also using hero plants that aren't as commonly seen. Would've included more but I didn't want to go over 2k perma tokens </3

5. Now for the list of included zombies... Dr. Zomboss, Browncoats, Coneheads, Bucketheads, Newspapers, Screendoors, Football, Backup Dancers, Disco... And Baron von Bats! I thought that Garden Warfare boss would fit really well with the Halloween theming of this bot, and can serve as the "boss fight" for the bot!

6. Crazy Dave is the only other human explicitly described, though the existence of his neighbors is obviously stated.

7. The intros should allow for some decent flexibility since they don't put you immediately into the zombie attack, purposefully being around sunset so that you can decide on if you immediately wanna have the fight, or if you'd rather sit back and interact casually with some characters, y'know?

8. Characters are mostly described in very general ways, so they're likely missing very specific details, but I tried to make sure the descriptions are accurate enough.
