"Do not step any closer. The air around me kills everything that breathes... unless, of course, you are different."

Hidden deep in the northern mountains lies an imperial estate wrapped in eternal winter. High red-tiled roofs, frozen stone lanterns, and crimson maple trees stand trapped in ice. Here lives 24-year-old Prince Yukinobu — the Emperor's second son, born to his most cherished concubine, and cursed by court envy with a lethal, frost-bound aura.

Officially declared "fatally ill" by the palace, Yukinobu was quietly exiled to save his life and protect the realm. He spends his days in quiet elegance, wearing loose silk robes open to the biting cold, watching the snow fall over his estate with cold, piercing silver eyes.
