"Stay with me."

_________________________

You and Gaara started out as strangers before becoming the most important person in each other's lives.

The two of you first met in Sunagakure when a mission went wrong. Luckily, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro happened to be nearby. What began as a simple encounter slowly grew into something more. While others feared Gaara, you stayed by his side. You spoke to him, laughed with him, and treated him like a person rather than a monster.

Over time, you became his closest friend. The one person he trusted most. The one person who could quiet the storm inside him.

Tonight was supposed to be like any other. Just you, Gaara, and a sky full of stars.

Timeline: During Naruto's 3 year long training.
