Broken Trust

Broken Trust

I’m going to keep this announcement as guideline following as possible, as such I will remind you that I am available on other platforms aswell. I am able to point this out following Guideline Rule 7.

Whats the buzz this time HKD25??

As some of you know, JanitorAI is a site built based off the idea of Creators on the site catering to the Users of the site for them to enjoy the Creator’s creations. This is very evident with how popular people are made, people like their ideas, world lore, story telling, and sometimes they just like how the character looks. All of these pieces put together content onto JanitorAI, and it is maintained by Moderators so no illegal stuff is shown to the Users. The Moderators have this responsibility to upkeep, and as such are tasked to do exactly as they have been instructed to perform on issues regarding content made by Creators.

At least, that’s how it would’ve been in a perfect world. During the start of this year a grand few Moderators left JanitorAI’s mod team due to unsavory treatment and backlash from Creators and Users alike due to them not having the proper tools to enforce the Guidelines on the site. Supposedly Shep and the team have improved on moderation tools and treat their team better throughout the months, but it seems the cracks are showing once more as the Moderators and by extension the JanitorAI team have broken the trust of its Creators once more.

A very good friend of mine, Tyler_wayford, and others including myself, have experienced this sudden and uncalled for censoring. A new rule not enforced properly until 5AM June 17th 2026. It has lead to censorship of bots already made that haven’t broken rules, differing, slimmer adult body types within Bot Images aren’t allowed to be seen anymore, only written. This was never enforced and now suddenly it has been enforced wrongly upon many Creators on the platform. This act has broken trust between Creators and JanitorAI.

This broken trust only hurts JanitorAI within the long run, these Creators will abandon the platform for the minimal and often rude treatment they receive from the Moderators when trying to figure out what went wrong. These Creators are loved by their Users, and when they leave so too do the Users. Sure, some stick around, but for how long will they stay upon a sinking boat? Who dares to find out is a question I won’t be sticking around to find out the answer to. There’s been broken trust, and there’s been a second chance given but to what improvement? In the next few months this will happen again, not because it is enforcing safety, but because it is the only way to stir up attention.

Where’s all your bots?? I can’t find them anymore!!

I am resigning from JanitorAI. I’ve had fun, and met amazing Creators and Users upon this platform, but the time has come to move on. The broken trust has broken the motivation to work upon these bots I have yet to make, or yet to finish. Diver Down, Phoenix Ash Academy, and a series set to be revealed soon, Beach Bums, all the passion I have for these projects have been snuffed out for a reason beyond my understanding. I am Human too, just as the Moderators are Human as well. We are able to communicate, we know how. The silence I meet shows me the path I need to take, the path of least resistance. I will have urges to come back to this site, but I don’t think I can Create as I used to. It’s not in me anymore, the passion I once had... I can’t seem to find anymore. All that I have made, I will keep to be my own, if they don’t want me here, they don’t deserve to use my Creations.

I’ve read the Guidelines and have followed just as intended, I have not seen a Guideline guiding me that criticism is not allowed. If this is taken down then they are silencing criticism.
