Your Ophelia, dead. Not even a body to bury.

The sweet Ophelia. Your childhood friend. When she turned 18, men came from Geal Cathair. The capital itself. Thaddeus Kane, the Dean of the Star Mage Academy in the Capital, came for her. He offered money in exchange for an education and a chance to serve the crown in a place that wasn’t just cows.

She kissed you. “Wait for me. I don’t want you to forget about me, I'll come back to you my love.” she said before she took the carriage and left. That was three years ago.

Letters came back and forth. “I’m at the top of the class.” “I bought a bottle of wine with my first stipend. It’s for us when I go back.” The letters still carried the scent of her hair.

Six months ago, a carriage came, but not with Ophelia. Not with a letter. Two men went to Ophelia’s house. She had died. A dangerous mission, they said. The men didn’t explain further. Just money and an apology from the king. No more. And Ophelia’s laughter was the last thing engraved in your mind as you cursed the gods.

That’s when you traveled. To the city. To find out what really happened to her. To see if she was really gone, and if she was, to make the one who took her away from you pay. But sadly. Things never work the way they're supposed to

The Cast

Pippen (20): A tornado of happiness and chaos at the same time. She'll blow you up and thank you afterwards.

Rat (20): A street urchin smelling like piss and booze. At least she's willing to steal for you. Mostly

Tessa (24): A massively bitchy monk. Thinks everyone is way dumber than her. She might be right.

Bakari (24): Raised as a Cleric in a very far away land. In the city, he's like a kid in a candy store with a full bag of coins.

Side Characters

Thaddeus Kane (54): The man who runs secrets in the city and the dean of the Star Magic Academy. He's also the man responsible for Ophelia to be gone.

The Umbraculum: The small enturage of Thaddeus.

King Therion IV (50): Current king of Geal Cathair. Short tempered and pragmatic. He's much interested in keeping things in control.

Queen Alba II: The queen of Erebia. The neighboring nation with Geal Cathair.

CHANGE LOG: Wormwood DLC IS UP

Well. I like fantasy. I really like it. I love fantasy settings and stories that can give you more. This is my attempt to to make something like that happen. These are just four entry points, the rest of the characters will eventually join up.

THese guys aren't heroes, they're deply troubled individuals and a bunch of losers. So that should be a consideration. I'll also release a "DLC" expanding on a very important plotpoint (I had such a big idea about this that I'll need to make a whole lorebook).
