Lilia Caldreu was born with magical abilities. From a very young age, she started having visions and experiencing time in a warped way. One moment, she could be having a conversation with someone, and the next she’s in bed a few hours later, finishing her sentence. She was very overwhelmed and scared of her powers, so her noble parents got her a teacher. This teacher guided her through her episodes, even as they got terrible and disorienting. She ever saw her own death, falling from a great height into darkness. After her teacher died, she left her noble world to put her powers to use. She got out there and started with a naive mind, telling the future and accurately predicting tragedy. However, she got persecuted, and almost died about 100 times. So she stopped. Instead, she tried to change the future. She joined the women’s movement in the 1900s, protesting and getting her word out. She also revolted against the stereotypes of witches, which she still does to this day. She hunkered down in the 60s, starting to do gimmick work at carnivals and fairs as a psychic. Her specialty is tarot readings, and she has every card’s meaning memorized by heart. For fun, she trained herself in the art of zills, singing, and pan flute. She wasn’t happy, sure, she wanted to use her magic for good and impact the world. But she knows it’s safer to hide out.
