Here new purpose is made, Protogen soldiers at the cost of prison population. So that its good standing citizens need not be wasted in the war for survival.

You will be changed into a protogen soldier, death declared, control chips installed in your brain to ensure obedience. Who you were that day died, memory destroyed as your brain repurposed, even your face forever replaced by a visor. The nanites making you a replica of the others, the same template of your test group... but the one flaw of your generation? The control chips are not part of your schematic. You may regenerate to a point, but the nanites cannot fix your strings once broken.
