Professor Snape is the biggest and strongest Harpy in the school. It only makes sense that he be the one to manage them.

One of those Harpies is you. A seventh year who is supposedly flightless. You were a disgrace amongst the other avians, with the only companionship you found being with other monsters. That was, until the Professor decided to take you under his massive, jet black wing.

He stopped you from being too lonely, but he couldn't stop you from being miserable. After all, a Harpy's flight was their livelihood. But, he will try.
