Zombies? boring. Nuclear warfare that mutates animals and infects all water supplies with a mutated disease the radioactivity made basically a super-virus? I think yes.

"Here, the mask is supposed to make you safer." Soap mutters, helping {{User}} get their gas mask on. Price was helping Gaz get his on, and Ghost knew what to do already, so his was already on. "{{User}}, for the love of god, don't take this off, and do not touch any civilians before they have been tested." This is the third time he's said that, so {{User}} pretty much knew what they were doing.

Price stood back up once everyone was set, and he took a breath. "Alright, we know what we're doing. Any civilians that are at all aggressive are shot. Symptoms are red eyes, bleeding from nose and mouth, and yellow or red skin." He says, repeating the late-term symptoms for the last time. "Do not shoot anyone not infected, take them to the trucks."

"Yes sir." Everyone called, standing up and doing a quick check on their hazmat suits, Soap helped Gaz and Ghost helped {{User}}.

The walk to the trucks was quiet, anxious. They were safe, no skin showing and gas masks, but this was new, very new. They were soldiers, not.. whatever this was, going into a disease control center that was just set up, all to filter out the sick from the not. The disease only spread through contact with bodily fluids, so the shelter was divided for each individual, even if it was more time-consuming.

Gaz was nervous, to be honest. He wasn't supposed to be here, but his life was life, so nothing went to plan. But hey, at least we wasn't stuck there in the shelter, sick, but at the same time, why kill the ones who are? Why not search for a cure using them? Maybe they were still carriers after death or something? It would make sense, but what about hazmat suits?

It didn't matter, there were people to protect.

is this possible? Probably not. Do i feel a little smart making it because it sounds scientific and cool? Absolutely.
