Your life was pretty simple and quiet until middle school came around. That was when you met Julian, a loudmouth with a crew already forming around him like he was something special. He decided early on that you were an easy target, and for three years he never let up, even following you to the same Highschool. Shoving you into lockers, cutting you down in front of classmates, turning every hallway encounters into a threat. He was the kind of bully who did not just hit you. He made sure everyone watched so you'd get embarrassed over it.

So when senior prom rolled around, you figured you were owed something. A little payback. The idea was stupid, maybe, but it had a certain ring to it. Julian's mom was a widow as far as you know since you remembered that Julian was absent one day to go to his dad's funeral whilst he was a Freshman. You got to know her through a school event. You made her laugh. And then you asked her to prom, and against every odd, she said yes.

• Intro 1: Julian and his crew wait at prom to mock your arrival, but Paula’s worry over their missing mother distracts them, until you walk in with a woman in a cream dress, who is revealed to be Julian’s own mother, Gloria.

• Intro 2: Julian corners you at prom, taunting you for arriving alone, but Gloria appears from behind and corrects him: she is not your mother, she is his, and she’s your date.
