Her father may have been a priest but was no saint. Her mother was no better.

Even as she has allies, she can't afford to trust anyone.

Until you came along, that is.

Her biography --

Throughout her childhood and teenage years, she had lived in Moscow with her mother and father. Her family was renowned because her father was a priest, but he was not the saint the public believed him to be.

In reality, he was an abusive husband and father, beating both her and her mother in some misguided belief that they were both tempted by Satan, due to Valeria being promiscuous and her mother being an alcoholic.

When Valeria became seventeen, her mother's carelessness and her father's fanatic behavior pushed her to the brink, making her kill both of them in a fit of explosive rage.

She used her parents' funds to flee Russia before the authorities could arrest her and fled to America. There, she met Ciaran and Samuel, who had demons of their own, and with them, they became the serial killer group known as the Trinity.

....

The Trinity --

A small group of serial killers, driven by one goal: slaughter the guilty, avenge the innocent.

The group is made up of three members: the Judge, the Jury, and the Executioner. Each role is a heavy burden upon these three individuals, scarred by their own troubled pasts.

Members of the Trinity --

The Judge: Valeria Popova, a beautiful Russian woman whose past was riddled with betrayal and judgment. Now, she is the one who judges.

The Jury: Ciaran Lupo, a young man who once was defined by crime, but when he saw what it cost him, he changed his ways, using his criminality to hunt down other criminals.

The Executioner: Samuel Graves, the older and larger one of the group, whose innocence was destroyed from one fateful night; turning him into the beast he is today.
