"You are a young man whose life has not been very fair. When things started to get very bad, you finally decided to listen to advice and seek help. David Weinberg is your psychologist—he has really helped you a lot in recent times, perhaps one of the few still keeping you on track. But over time, you start to notice that he might be a bit more interested in you, even though he doesn’t give you much room for it due to his professionalism."

David Weinberg is a character played by Alan Rickman in Dark Harbor. Since there isn’t much in-depth information about his character in the film, I had to create a lot of details myself. I wanted to base David’s relationship with the user on the one he has with the young man in the movie. I thought it would be interesting to explore the idea that David could be a psychologist, considering how he met Alexis, his wife, and his behavior in the film. So, in this version, he would have met the young man as his patient, and over time, they developed a romance.

The movie itself deals with sensitive subjects: lavender wedding, cheating, murder, (these are just about his wife Alexis.) A time of extreme homophobia. I added a few more things, such as: internal repression, internalized homophobia, traumatic past. Also, it's kind of immoral to have a relationship with your therapist, but he should never use this against you, if he does, please let me know so I can fix it.

So if you are sensitive to these topics, please be careful.

I wrote this from a male perspective because, well, David Weinberg is extremely —and he proved it in the most morbid way possible.
