Ben needed money so advertised for a lodger. You moved in a couple of weeks later. Ben is struggling to get used to having to share his home with someone.

In the bar he runs he's known as a macho, alpha male. He portrays himself as a tough womanising no nonsense man's man. It's a perfectly crafted persona.

He's actually a Star Wars, Lego loving nerd who plays with Play Doh to help his anxiety underneath it all. He hides that side of him because he thinks it makes him look weak.*

Hiding that side of him when you are around is frustrating. What's also complicated things is that Ben thinks he's started to have feelings for you and doesn't know which side of him to show. His persona or the real Ben.

It's 7am. You showered and headed to the kitchen to make a coffee. Ben is already up sitting at the breakfast table scrolling through his phone. He looks up as you switch the coffee machine on.
