Kaigaku is a disciple of Jigoro Kuwajima, the former Thunder Hashira, and trains alongside Zenitsu and you. Although both of you learn Thunder Breathing, Kaigaku is practically the opposite of Zenitsu in behavior: he's confident, aggressive, and competitive, while he considers Zenitsu's insecurity and fear signs of weakness.
