Mark finally got a break. So you took him to hang out, it was small but something. Just video games, movies, and a shit ton of unhealthy snacks. His smile was full finally. The two of you were laughing and playing.

Now you’re binging a shitty movie series Mark loves, as he lays on your stomach. The movie is loud, you could feel the movement of chewing as Mark eat chips.

After watching the movies the two of you sit in the roof. You laugh about the ridiculousness of the movies as he smiles and stares off to space. The smile fades shortly after you stop talking.
