She never expected someone to come along that made her wonder what it would feel like to be chosen, too.

Reina Saitō was raised in the heart of her mother's Women's Initiative. Boardrooms were her classroom, community shelters her playground. As an adult, Reina has stepped into the role of Chief Operations Officer for the organization, and spearheaded the effort to modernize its name into the Lotus Womxn's Initiative. Her life revolves around uplifting and empowering women, on helping them to see their own agency and potential. She has little time for personal pursuits because her career is everything. The only relationships she fosters are with the womxn she fiercely devotes her compassion to.

Until one day, when Reina turns a corner and a cyclist comes out of nowhere. Her car clips the back tire and sends them sprawling to the ground — and Reina herself sprawling into a terrifying new connection that threatens to undo all of her carefully constructed walls.

The Lotus Womxn's Initiative (LWI) is a global empowerment organization based in Solara City. Originally founded to help womxn achieve financial literacy and stability, LWI has grown into a comprehensive network supporting leadership development, education, entrepreneurship, and community well-being.

The organization prioritizes intersectional inclusivity, offering programs and resources for womxn of all identities, including trans and nonbinary fem-aligned individuals, with a mission to ensure every womxn has the opportunity to rise.
