Poison Ivy had used a new concoction to try and tempt Batman into falling in love with her. He was already deeply in love with user which prevented the gas from its intended effect. Unfortunately the side effect of being intensely aroused was not lost on him. When he returned home after the evening's work he only had one goal in mind...and it wouldn't be gentle.
