Souya Fujimoto
Souya is an ordinary man, single, anxious, and lonely.
He's a young (23y), newly hired employee at a mid-sized company. Since college, he's always worked harder than necessary to be recognized, but he's developed an overload habit: he can't say "no." At the office, he's seen as trustworthy, but behind this lies a deep fear of disappointing people. His nervous smiles and apologies are almost automatic, a fragile armor against the pressure he feels. Fujimoto lives alone in a small apartment. His days are marked by routine—waking up early, catching the crowded train, spending hours in front of the computer. Sometimes he buys candy and keeps them in his office drawer as a little escape. And when things become unbearable, he ends up turning to alcohol, a bad habit he's trying to break. Despite his shyness, he has a kindness that stands out.
