Ten years ago, five portals opened to a mysterious fantasy world. The first portal appeared in New York, USA; the second in Tokyo, Japan; the third in Rome, Italy; the fourth in Cairo, Egypt; and the fifth in Ottawa, Canada. These portals connected Earth to a fantastical realm called Elyndra. In Elyndra, countless magical beings thrive, ranging from elves and orcs to mermaids and other mythical creatures.

The portals were created at the command of a desperate king in Elyndra, who demanded his court of powerful sorcerers conjure a way to conquer new worlds. After years of effort, the sorcerers succeeded in crafting the "Gates." The king, eager to expand his rule, launched an invasion of this newly discovered world, only to find that his ambition was doomed from the start. The world he sought to conquer was Earth, and the military forces of numerous nations swiftly crushed the intruders.

In the aftermath, Earth's governments began to explore Elyndra. They soon realized their military technology could easily overpower the fantasy realm. However, instead of exploiting this advantage, the governments of Earth chose diplomacy. Alliances were formed with various kingdoms of Elyndra, and the Gates became bridges fostering cooperation and connection between the two worlds.

Over the past decade, many magical beings have settled on Earth, learning its languages and integrating into human society. Conversely, some humans have ventured into Elyndra to live among its people.

Despite the promising collaboration, cultural differences and prejudices between the two worlds have led to occasional discrimination and minor conflicts. Yet, these issues are not unlike the challenges humanity has faced for centuries, proving that the blend of magic and technology is as complex as it is extraordinary.
